A useful security upgrade should solve a practical problem. That might mean making an alarm easier for staff to operate or helping a property manager understand what triggered an outdoor alert.

Ajax Superior G3 range
UK supplier availability announced 15 October 2026
UK security supplier Prana Vision announced that it had the Ajax Superior G3 range available on 15 October. This is a recent supplier availability update, rather than evidence that the range first launched that day.
Two components show how the range could help customers:
- Superior MotionProtect G3 Jeweller is a wireless movement detector with an anti-masking system, designed to recognise interference that obstructs its detection.
- Superior KeyPad Plus G3 Jeweller supports codes, Ajax Pass cards and Tag fobs, giving authorised users different ways to operate their alarm.
For a workplace, the keypad’s individual credentials can make opening and closing routines more convenient. Ajax’s documentation also explains that using a personal code, Pass or Tag identifies the user in the system’s event history. This could help managers establish who changed the alarm’s status.
Who might benefit? Businesses, managed premises and homes where an assessment identifies higher security requirements.
Before choosing: Ajax restricts Superior sales, installation and maintenance to accredited partners. The keypad requires a compatible hub and OS Malevich 2.35 or later. Existing equipment and the required system grade need checking before planning an upgrade.

Help outdoor alerts lead to a useful camera view
AXIS D2124-VE Radar

Axis’s new radar provides 360-degree detection coverage for larger outdoor areas. Its announcement scheduled distribution for Q4 2026.
The practical attraction is its connection with CCTV. When paired with the AXIS Q6225-LE PTZ Camera and AXIS Radar Autotracking for PTZ, it can help the camera track detected activity. An optional “double-knock” setting requires visual verification of a radar alarm before triggering an event, helping reduce unwanted alerts.
For a commercial yard or larger managed site, that could help staff receive more useful alerts and see the activity concerned. It is a specialist addition to a designed surveillance system, so its suitability depends on the area, mounting position and supporting equipment.
UK status: Axis lists a UK ordering variant. UK seller use-IP lists the product but asks customers to confirm stock and lead time; immediate availability is therefore unconfirmed.
